How It Works

Obtain Request
for Live Scan Form

Your Employer or Requesting Agency will provide you with the Request for Live Scan Service form.

Visit our office or
make an appointment

Once you have filled out the Request for Live Scan Service form—for walk-in service, visit our office at 877 Cedar St, in downtown Santa Cruz between 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. For mobile service please call or email for an appointment.

Processing your live scan

Capturing you prints takes only 5-10 minutes. Your prints are then securely transmitted to the requesting agency that is doing the background check.

What you will need in order
to process the Live Scan

Completed Live Scan Forms. Payment for Service–Cash or CC. Valid Identification–Drivers license (any state), California Identification card, or US Passport (with supporting documentation).
